Audio Scrubbing On or Off

Audio scrubbing can be very irritating when you’re moving around on the timeline, but very useful when you’re trying to pinpoint an edit point. I’ve noticed that a lot of people tend to turn it off and leave it off due to the annoyance factor, but then they miss out on it’s occasional great usefulness. Well, there’s an easy way to toggle it on and off:

If you have been living with it turned off, I recommend that you give it a try next time you’re trying to make a cut between words or position a graphic or visual effect precisely over an audio event (like a gun shot). It’s actually very helpful and, along with using the waveform, can make audio-dependent edits quite easy.
